The inauguration of the committee which was in compliance with the requirement of the inter-ministerial implementation committee on FoI was chaired by the Secretary to the Commission, Ntufam Fidel Ugbo, Esq.
All MDAs were required to establish an in-house implementation committee to ensure proper implementation of the freedom of information Act, 2011 as was accented to on the 28th, of May 2011 by Mr. President, Commander-in-Chief, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
