Minister decries widening gap in inequality - Blueprint

Minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman, has decried the rising inequality gap among citizens of the world even as there also is a rise in middle class in the last 20 years.
Sulaiman stated this in Abuja to mark the 20th anniversary of the partners in population and development (PPD).

DFID Pledges Support For Nigeria’s Infrastructure Master Plan - Dailytrust
The Director General of the Department for International Development (DFID), Joy Hutcheon, has pledged to support Nigeria towards achieving success in the implementation of the National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan (NIIMP).
Hutcheon, who is in charge of DFID Programmes in Nigeria, made this promise yesterday when she led her team on a courtesy visit to the Minister of National Planning, Dr Abubakar Sulaiman in his office in Abuja.

FG To Promote Creation of 1,500 SMEs Via New Technologies
The Director General of Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi, FIIRO, Dr. Gloria Elemo, has said that an estimated 1,500 small and medium scale enterprise are expected to be set up across the country in the next one year through the 250 Research and Development (R&D) technologies/outputs developed by the institute.
